Principals
Co-Founder & Managing Principal
Harsh Thakker is responsible for the firm's acquisitions, debt capital relationships, and execution, including construction operations. He founded Dorado in 2019 and has overseen its growth from infill construction into horizontal development. Before founding the firm, he worked in CMBS research at MAC Realty Advisors and in fixed-income analytics at RiskSpan. He is a graduate of Georgetown University.
Principal
Birju Bhagat oversees the firm's entitlement work and its equity relationships. He has owned and operated hospitality and residential real estate in the Richmond region for more than twenty years, and also serves as chief executive of PG Hospitality and as a principal of Monument Hospitality. His operating history includes ground-up single-family construction.
Principal
Vikram Dhruva leads technical review of the firm's projects and shares responsibility for its equity relationships. A structural engineer by training, he spent twenty years at Dassault Systèmes in enterprise sales and channel management across the Americas. He also serves as a sales director at VIAS3D and holds an MBA.
Principal
Vedant Shukla is responsible for the firm's financial management, including project cost control and operational finance, as well as its marketing strategy. Before joining Dorado, he worked in portfolio finance at FS Investments, supporting valuation, reporting, and leverage management for publicly traded credit vehicles, including FS KKR Capital Corp (NYSE: FSK). He is a graduate of Drexel University's LeBow College of Business.
